As parents we worry how our children are doing in school and university. We are constantly figuring out different ways to engage our children into becoming the best they can be, from walking them to their first class in kindergarten to the point they graduate.
This process got us involved with our child’s education. Countless hours were spent helping our children improve in any way possible. They would ask us questions on any subject they felt they needed help with. At one stage, we read ahead on how to be prepared for helping them get past the pre-IB entrance exam, followed by the Pre IB and IB program. We prepared tests for them in each of the subjects, before everyone of their tests/exams we would engage with them in different styles to determine what understanding they had and what they needed improving on.
Our motto was “You have to pass our test for knowledge” as if this was as important as the mark they got in their test at school. Due to these preparatory tests, our children had the knowledge they needed to comfortably perform well in their tests at school. This knowledge is what gives them a solid foundation for university.
Many of our friends required assistance in helping their children with their pre-IB preparation, after numerous successful completions they suggested we start a business doing this, and as they say the rest is history.
